How I Finally Got That Big, Bouncy Hair

Flat, limp hair? In this blog, I share my go-to routine using Mystic Volume Root Spray and a Hot Air Brush to create big, bouncy, long-lasting volume—plus my secret tip for getting that salon-style lift at home!

Girl, you know how I’ve been obsessed with getting more volume in my hair. My hair is naturally super fine and flat—it’s like no matter what I do, it just falls
limp after an hour. I’ve tried backcombing, flipping my hair upside down, all those hacks... NOTHING really lasted.

But omg, I finally found the combo that actually WORKS—and I’m not gatekeeping.

So, here’s my new secret:

1. Mystic Volume Root Spray
2. Hot Air Brush

Let me tell you how this routine has been giving me Victoria’s Secret model vibes lately.

First up, the Mystic Volume. This is NOT your average hair spray. It’s a root volumizer that’s super lightweight and honestly a total game changer. Right after washing my hair, I towel-dry it so it’s damp (not dripping wet). Then I section off my hair at the crown and spray Mystic Volume directly onto the roots. The first time I used it, I was like… okay, let’s see if this actually does anything.

But the trick is—you HAVE to blow-dry right after spraying.

The magic happens when heat hits the product. I take my blow dryer, lift my hair at the roots with my fingers, and dry it section by section. Girl, you can
LITERALLY see the volume happening in real time. It’s so satisfying.

And then—this is where it gets extra good—I use my Hot Air Brush. This tool is EVERYTHING. It’s basically like having a blow-dryer and round brush in one
hand, so you can style and add body at the same time (without needing 3 hands like a pro stylist lol)

 Here’s my routine:

 · Then I take the Hot Air Brush and section my hair.
 · After I’ve blow-dried with Mystic Volume, my roots already have a nice lift.
 · I wrap each section around the brush, pull up and away from my face, and let the hot air do its thing.

And babe—here’s the part that makes ALL the difference: while using the Hot Air Brush to activate the Mystic Volume, I make sure to keep tension in the hair and glide the brush either toward my face or in the opposite direction (like lifting the hair upwards). This really gives that big, bouncy lift we all want—and not just some flat ironing effect.

Another little tip: after wrapping a section around the brush and drying it, I let it cool in place for a few seconds before touching it. That sets the volume SO much better and helps it last all day.

Now my hair? Full of volume. Bouncy and fresh. No sticky residue or stiffness (you KNOW I hate that crunchy hair feeling). And it actually stays lifted until my
next wash.

Girl, I’m telling you—this duo is IT if you want that real volume, not just a little lift that disappears by lunchtime. Here are the links if you wanna try: Mystic
